Die zweite Etappe des Fernwanderwegs Heilige Landschaft Pfaffenwinkel Nordschleife führt uns von Paterzell durch das Naturschutzgebiet Eibenwald und über Wessobrunn nach Raisting. Beeindruckend ist die Klosteranlage in Wessobrunn, die noch zu gut einem Drittel erhalten geblieben ist. Auch das Brunnenhaus und die Tassilolinde sind einen Besuch wert. Einige Fragmente des Kloster Wessobrunn haben es sogar bis in die Nationalbibliothek nach München geschafft, darunter das Wessobrunner Gebet, das als das älteste deutsche Sprachdenkmal mit christlichem Inhalt gilt. Kurz vor Raisting erblicken wir das Radom, die große Erdfunkstelle, die die Gemeinde auch über die regionalen Grenzen hinaus bekannt macht. Im Ort selber gibt es mit der Pfarrkirche St. Remigus ein weiteres sakrales Highlight zu bestaunen.
